Further to the announcement released on SENS on 11 March 2010 regarding an offer
for sale of and subscription in Optimum Coal ordinary shares (the "Offer"),
interested investors are advised that the bookbuild and offer process will close
at 17:00 (Central African Time) on Tuesday, 23 March 2010. Any investor wishing
to participate in the bookbuild process and Offer must ensure that they have
provided an indication of their interest to the bookrunners or a duly completed
application form by 17:00 (Central African Time) on Tuesday, 23 March 2010. The
